Quarantine Paint Project Info
For those that haven’t picked up, supplies are ready in my classroom for you to pickup when you clean out lockers. Please take only the stack with your name. Each one is prepared according to what you said you needed.
Here are the instructions before you get started:
When you get your supplies there is a barn template. The first 10 minutes of the video is putting that template on your canvas. It might be easier to just use the template. That part of the video is a little hard to see. The bottom left corner of the template should be the bottom left of your canvas. In other words, your canvas should match that paper when you’re ready to start painting at the 10:00 minute mark of the video.
We did not provide a circle cutout. Just find something circular around the house to trace that’s close to the size on the template. We used a cup.
We provided stars to hot glue. You can also paint your stars on if you don’t want to use those. I painted mine.
I didn’t paint the words White House, Tennessee on mine. I wanted to, but don’t trust my writing with paint! I googled “barn canvas painting” to use as a pattern to paint my doors. Yours doesn’t have to match the video exactly!
Please return brushes to me whenever we’re back in school if you can. We use them for Craft Club a lot. Use them and the leftover paint to get creative while you’re stuck at home!!
Text me a pic when you finish!!! I want pics of EVERYONE (parents included) with their finished project!!! 615-581-1061
I really hope you have a fun time!! Plan for at least 2 hours. Sit down, take your time, and enjoy!!
Thank you to our Craft Club Master Painter Jesse Conger!!!!
Let me know if you have any questions!
